Hayling Wheelchairs is a family business was started by John and Judith Steward to help people regain independence in their life.

A large range of products are available, ranging from Wheelchairs (light weight and both large and small wheels, and adjustable back and legs) and Scooters, walking aids, bathing aids, stair lifts, a large range of household aids and scooter and wheechair capes and shelters.

If we do not have a product available, it is most likely that we can get it, so it always worth asking!

Hiring is also available. Wheelchairs and Scooters can be hired form 1 day, to long term. Delivery can be made to holiday camps and places of stay. Please ring to book, or use our booking form online.

We are very happy to help you with choosing a wheelchair or scooter that is best for you. We have a variety to choose from and try out. When picking a scooter or wheelchair, it is important to think about the size of the rooms it needs to access and in the case of a scooter, where you can charge it and store it. Some scooters are also light enough to fit into a car and this can lead to more independence.

Scooters that travel at sppeds of 6mph or 8mph do need to be taxed by law now, and we can help with the filling in of the forms needed. This is done through the DVLA and at no extra cost to you through us. Tax discs must be displayed on these scooters.

We do provide services for scooters, and reccommend that they are services annually at a nomimal charge. This way we can monitor the batteries and check over the scooter to make sure it is still safe and reliable to use.
